President Ivanov today visited Negotino and had meeting with citizens, including retired people from the city .
At the meeting, Ivanov was informed about the implementation of the project, as is the project for improving conditions for water supply in the municipality worth 30.7 million MKD.
In talks with Ivanov, residents of Negotino agreed that opening up foreign factories in this region mean better prospects for young people in the region, in terms of creating new jobs and significant contribution to the economic development of this region.
In this context was mentioned the construction of the German factory Drexel Meyer in Kavadarci for producing cable installations and equipment, a factory worth around 20 million, where are planned new 4,000 jobs for this region.
Residents of Negotino said that in their municipality are employed around 700 people in the factory.
The Mayor of Negotino noted that the process of shaping the industrial zone Negotino designed for building the purchase- distribution centers and light manufacturing facilities and announced that they would continue working on completion of the industrial zone Dubrovo – Tremnik, which would open 500 new jobs.
President Ivanov said that along with foreign should be stimulated the domestic investors and it was informed that there is interest at the domestic business for construction of industrial facilities and construction of mini wineries near Negotino.
Also, citizens of Negotino informed Ivanov that are built two completely new gyms worth 66 million, Government investment and that recently received multi-purpose court in the suburb Saat Kula.
During the visit, President Ivanov also visited the Hunting Association “Negotino”.
