None of the candidates, members of the submitted 14 lists for the upcoming early parliamentary elections is a collaborator of the secret services.
As commission for Facts Verification informed, according to the data from the Administration for Security and counter Intelligence, the National Archives, Agency for Intelligence and Intelligence Service at the Ministry of Defense in their record is not found any candidate who collaborated with the secret services.
Out of 1402 candidates from the 14 lists, so far are checked 850, while the remaining 552 were previously investigated.
Commission spokesman Predrag Dimitrovski for MIA says members of Commission for Lustration have opportunities to initiate legal action in the future if any candidate is found in other documents that will be under discussion, but it suggests that the chances are small given that most of candidates are young people or are at the age when they could have not been collaborators with the secret services at that period.
Commission for Lustration during the day will submit to the SEC report that among the candidates there are no collaborators with the secret services.
