VMRO – DPMNE has placed Macedonians Muslims on the parliamentary lists on these elections, which represents the realization of what was announced by the party leader Nikola Gruevski on the rally in Struga.

-I want to announce that on the list of MPs of VMRO – DPMNE coalition will be place for at least two persons of Muslim Macedonians so we can fight together to improve life in those areas, the Prime Minister said before the citizens of Struga.

According to the lists, Fatmir Imerovski is proposed for a place on the first constituency. Fatmir is originally from the village Mogorce, Debar, born on 1969, married, father of three young children. He graduated on the Faculty of Economics in Skopje. He had his own business for a longer period of time, currently is working in PE Macedonia Road, and has experience in the construction business. He is member of VMRO – DPMNE since 1998.

Nola Ismajlovska from Struga is proposed for the fifth constituency. She graduated on the Medical Faculty of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. She has working experience in several areas and fields. In the period from 2004 to 2014 she worked as a trainer on projects and events organized or supported by the European Commission and Council of Europe as well as other donors and sponsors.

She was also an associate in the UN office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs for program development, identification, formulation and project management.

Armen Nezri, Ramadan Mehmeti and Amzo Ahmedoski are proposed in the sixth constituency too.

The growing concern of VMRO – DPMNE for this group of Macedonians is evident. The Prime Minister in Struga added that regardless how Muslim citizens will vote in this election, VMRO – DPMNE will actively work to improve their situation in Macedonia.

Earlier VMRO – DPMNE has promoted Ashim Zekirovski. In this way, according to experts, greater political inclusion is allowed and care for these Macedonian citizens that were subject to mismanagement in the past. The places in the lists are one of the ways to listen to their public positions and views on many important issues. VMRO – DPMNE is the first political party to take concrete steps in this regard.
