The development of the economy and reducing the unemployment by attracting foreign investment, which mean new jobs, is the main challenge for the Government with important and active participation of the Macedonian diaspora.
This was said by the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski at meeting with Macedonian emigrants in Dusseldorf from where he asked for their support for this process.
- It is extremely important for us is our citizens, our people, all Macedonians and other ethnic communities in Macedonia to get a job as soon as possible, and those who have, to come to more opportunities for higher wages, the Prime Minister said, adding that the government is economically oriented, friendly to business and government that certainly shows concern for the state and national interests.
Pointing out that so far there are good examples of large investments that have shown that the Macedonian economy has potential quality and competitive, and said that the aim of Government is to provide investment development, economic growth and human development through concrete projects, new roads, energy development and investment in education as lasting value and investment in youth, and that will mean a better life standard.
The Prime Minister Gruevski noted that the Government, despite the challenges, remains firmly committed and dedicated to economic progress.
At the meeting, the Prime Minister Gruevski noted that the Government realizes the promises and showed that through sincere relationship they can stay in touch and be close to their country of immigrants.
- We are the first Government that paid very close attention to our people who moved away from Macedonia due to various reasons and established closer communication with her. It was done through several steps, gestures, which we promised in the past period and we met, among them is the possibility for all those who due to different reasons have migrated from Macedonia to vote in diplomatic and consular missions of Macedonia, which had never been allowed before compared with the previous government of Macedonia and their relations with the Diaspora, said Gruevski to the Macedonian emigrants in Dusseldorf.
He called them, in the environment where they work and act to actively engage in the promotion of the potentials and advantages offered by Macedonia in the field of investment and economic development.
Prime Minister Gruevski along with the government’s economic team will present investment opportunities to the business community in Dusseldorf.
