PHOTO: Gruevski visited the injured passengers hospitalized in the Emergency Center

Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Gruevski, accompanied by Minister of Health Nikola Todorov, visited the injured passengers from the accident at Saramzalino who were hospitalized in the Emergency Center in Skopje, where he was informed about their health.

At the Emergency Center were brought 10 people, 7 of which were admitted, while three people after the provided medical assistance have been released from hospital.

Director of Emergency Center, Rexhep Selmani informed that out of the admitted patients, three were hospitalized at KARIL, three of Trauma Clinic.

- One of the patients was undergoing successful surgery and now is in stable condition. From the admitted patients at KARIL, one patient is on respirator with lung contusion. Her situation is bit more serious, but stable and is out of danger, said Selmani.

Director of Neurology Clinic, Aleksander Chaparovski indicated that patient was admitted at his department and is in stable condition with fractured skull base, but is conscious, while the second patient with lung contusion is in stable condition.

- It remains to monitor the situation and we will take all measures to help patients, said Chaparovski.

Earlier, Minister of Health Nikola Todorov together with the Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski, visited the injured persons from the accident that were hospitalized in hospitals in Veles and Shtip.

The accident, in which were injured 32 people, occurred this morning in collision between train and bus of “Strumica Express” near gas station “Miki Petrol” on the road Shtip – Veles.
