Vice President of SDSM, Radmila Sekerinska, escape the responsibility for the defeat in the first round of presidential elections, which according to preliminary results from the SEC, incumbent Ivanov walloped SDSM candidate Stevo Pendarovski with over 120,000 votes difference.
At yesterday’s press conference at the headquarters of the SDSM, party leader Zoran Zaev and presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski came, while Radmila Sekerinska wasn’t there to take responsibility for the disastrous defeat of her party.
Shekerinska always accompanies Zoran Zaev as his deputy, but when convincing defeat came, she left him alone with Pendarovski to take responsibility for the results, which are devastating to the main opposition party ahead of snap parliamentary elections on 27 April.
Shekerinska did not have the courage to come out and address, and Zaev in a brief speech said they did not expect such results and that “this is the will of the people”. Zaev and Pendarovski did not have the courage and virtue to congratulate Ivanov on his landslide victory in the first round.
