In the coming years, it is planned to make cannons and new artificial lake for artificial snow on Pelister and is foreseen project for building District Heating in Bitola.

This, at the stage in Bitola announced president of VMRO – DPMNE Nikola Gruevski.
- We did restoration of Ski Center Pelister and in the next two years we plan to make cannons and new artificial lake for artificial snow so that we would be able, even when there are no conditions for snow to provide possibility for skiing, recreation and tourism on Pelister, said President of VMRO – DPMNE before citizens of Bitola.
Pelister, as he said, is wonderful place and good for tourism.
He indicated that is built great athletic hall within the Bitola University, three gyms in secondary schools, two soccer fields, and multipurpose sports field at the school “Dame Gruev”.
Also, were finished, as he pointed out 79 apartments for socially vulnerable categories in Bitola.
- It was made study and project for building District Heating for Bitola through thermal energy that comes from REK Bitola. It is big project that will cover Bitola, Mogila and Novaci, Gruevski said.
He emphasized that in the past three years the feasibility study was done and the project is about to be finished and will soon begin with construction.
He noted that this major project will be beneficial for citizens of Bitola, Novaci and Mogla, not only for heating but also for heating the agricultural greenhouses.
