The construction of two highways Skopje- Shtip and Kichevo – Ohrid already provide first results. Today was announced call for hiring at one of the subcontractors for over 650 people, said Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski.
- I expect in the coming days, the other subcontractors and the Chinese company to announce the Call for employing greater number of employees, Janakieski said during his visit to Prilep, where he stayed together with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Zoran Stavreski.
According to Janakieski during this year will be employed over 1,000 people to work on highways in the country.
- As Government we insisted and was put in the contract, a minimum of 51 percents of employees who will work on highways to be Macedonian citizens, said Janakieski, while calling on all citizens who are eligible to apply at the vacancy.
- This is a good step to reduce unemployment in Macedonia. It was one of our main goals, stressed Janakieski.
The construction company “Granit” today announced the call for the employment of 670 people who will be hired to perform construction work on highways Skopje- Shtip and Kichevo – Ohrid.
Highway Skopje – Shtip will be 47 kilometers long and will cost 206 million euro, while the highway Kichevo – Ohrid with length of 57 kilometers has investment of 374 million euro.
