It is a mere political spin, political de-focus from own failures. The lack of political vision and specific ideas that are in the interest of all citizens pushed the party to focus on the name issue.
Such is the view of political analysts following statement of the DUI spokesman Bujar Osmani that citizens expect solutions, not elections, so the whole social energy should be focused on solving the big questions, as the name dispute.
Professor Dr. Tanya Karakamisheva – Jovanovska considers that DUI in continuation leads policy of pressure with direct touch of political blackmail and political dictates.
- I have feeling that this party, although has not realized almost any project independently in these seven years of participation in the government, has no single political success for the promotion of state and national interests, wants to hide these political failures by imposing political imposition over the coalition partner VMRO – DPMNE and the famous tactic that was particular caressed by the former SDSM leader Crvenkovski, underestimation and belittling the achievements of the other, to gain political points solely from their share of the electorate, says Karakamisheva – Jovanovska.
She believes that these already read and seen political strategies should leave for the political history of the Republic of Macedonia and DUI should focus on creating policies that are competitive, innovative, in the interest of all citizens of the state, which could seriously assist the Government in promoting Macedonia’s values and capabilities in the world.
- This is expected from serious and modern political party that participates fully in power and enjoys all its fruits. After all, if the BDI has developed projects and designs in the interest of the country, this party would ask for early elections in order to request the civic trust for another term. I have feeling that the lack of political vision and specific ideas that are in the interest of all citizens pushed the party’s focus on the name issue, because, deep inside knows that it is winning combination for raising their own rating. It is mere political spin, political defocus from own failures, says the university professor.
Experts believe that the matter is not about Osmani’s opinion whether there will be early elections, and whether there would be decision for the name issue, as only citizens can decide about it, not Osmani, or any other representative of a political party.
Republic of Macedonia is a parliamentary democracy, which has Constitution and the law, according to which key issues such as the name issue should be decided by the citizens and no one else.
Experts commented that what Bujar Osmani says, is his personal view and view of his political party that in past elections won more than 100,000 votes. The Osmani’s and his political party view cannot be understood either as an overall attitude of the Albanians, because Osmani and DUI are not representatives of all Albanians in the country.
