According to the Economist Intelligence Unit and reported by the influential site for economic news “Bloomberg,” the political risk in Macedonia is at the historically lowest level since 1997 onwards.
Economist Intelligence Unit emphasizes that political risk is assessed according to political factors that have been linked to the political stability and efficiency, which may affect the ability of a country and the commitment to pay the debt or cause turbulence in the market for exports.
From the chart published in the prominent newspaper it can be noted that the rating of our country in February 2014 is at the historically lowest level since it have begun the assessment in 1997. That time our country was at 80th place according to the political risk, whereas now is located at 61st place.
The higher score shows greater chance for risk, which indicates that the rating of Macedonia in relation to risk towards sovereignty, currency and banking sector is at the lowest level since being of assessment.
