Second day of silence from Bihakjka for the presidential candidate, after media reported that through the non-transparent procedure, contrary to the statute of the party, top of SDSM has decided Stevo Pendarovski to be candidate for head of state.
From the main opposition party there is no reaction after yesterday Pendarovski in a statement for Republika said that no one from SDSM nor anyone else asked him if he wants to be candidate for president of Macedonia, even though for a longer period there are rumors in the public that he will be SDSM candidate for the Head of state.
- And now I can only tell you that nobody, absolutely nobody, until this moment ever sat with me to discuss this topic. I do not know whether some SDSM organizations have proposed me, but if we want to discuss this, they have to contact me – says Pendarovski.
This statement of Pendarovski came after some media reported that SDSM in a non-transparent way, without procedure and inter- party action pursuant to the party status has chosen him and the Congress on 4th of March will be mere formality.
On the other hand, the SDSM attacks fall into water that the ruling party is undemocratic as VMRO- DPMNE publicly announced or confirmed all information about applicants and initiatives for support as the party received them, apart from SDSM where the choice is performed in closed circles, without transparent procedures.
