Ministry for Finances paid 305.2 million MKD subsidies for 18,688 farmers growing crops.
Financial support per hectare of arable farming land for field crops is 9,000 MKD.
Paid are subsidies to farmers who grow wheat, barley, corn, rye, oats, rice, triticale, lentils, peanuts, soybeans, oilseed rape, fodder beet, poppy, vetch, sainfoin, livestock peas, chickpeas, and alfalfa throughout the territory Republic of Macedonia.
Government with regular payment of subsidies to farmers remains consistent in supporting agriculture as one of the leading sectors of the Macedonian economy.
