The Ministry of Interior has launched the preparations for operations under its jurisdiction during the presidential elections, said Minister Gordana Jankuloska on Wednesday.
The MoI has submitted data over the Voters List to the State Election Commission. Moreover, operational headquarters have been established, which will oversee all activities prior, during and after the end of the elections.
According to Jankuloska, the security department is also prepared to provide its services to all candidates during the pre-election campaign.
“The MoI expects proper and sincere cooperation with political parties and other institutions competent for continual development of the electoral process, in the interest of citizens and their democratic right to vote. We are prepared to do everything in our power so that citizens can vote for the candidate of their choice in a peaceful, fair and democratic atmosphere”, stressed Minister Jankuloska.
